RE: Anderson Place Full Care Board

FYI: I did email about prices and felt personally that $350 for field board was a bit steep. I rent my house and keep my horses with me on the property. I keep them in a field, there are three stalls and a storage area for my grain, etc. I buy my own hay and grain and only pay $100 to rent the field / stalls. For all of this, I've managed to keep it less than $300 per month and that's for TWO horses.
I have heard of other local places offering field board for $200 - $250 which to me is more reasonable.
I think it's great when people have the ability to start their own business especially if their passion is horses but I have to question how much business they will attract with prices so high. Especially for field board.
Just my own personal thoughts and not meant to offend anyone. To give an idea about how I keep it so inexpensive, I buy my hay for $3.50 a bale and my low starch pellets are about $16.70 a bag. My horses are fat and happy and have very little grass at this point in their field.
