Treeless Saddles - Anyone have experience with these?

Hi,

I have been in the marker for a new saddle. I have been reading a lot about treeless saddles and how it enables the rider to get more horse, the horse to have more movement and everything I read sounda good but my thought is that if for example you ride Western, doesn't the saddle help distribute your weight over the horses back to make it better for them? OR is it that with the treeless it's more natural for you and your horse. I'm pretty up on horses, saddles etc.. so these are new to me and I just can't seem to find any concrete information. If any of you have done some heavy research, or better, have ridden in them; can you let me know your experience? Is the horse seemingly more comfortable? Are you getting a great ride out of your horse? Any information / feedback is greatly appreciated!
