Wow! Now that's a new one for me! Welcome to the excessively anal state of PA where most laws do not make sense. So, we was NOT on the sidewalk and he didn't have lights ON the horse. Nice. Hmm... well, you can probably google a search on Pennsylvania Equestrian Laws. Or something like that I would guess. It's funny because I live in a weird area of Horsham, PA. I live on a farm albeit small but we do ride on it but mostly we are out on the road. The cops have passed by here many times (it's on around the corner from the station) and really have never said anything. Now, one time I asked the township if I could ride in the neighboring park and they said not, not even dogs were allowed but that I could ride on the power line tracks. That's funny to me because I used to do that all the time and was under the impression that the powerlines belonged to PECO and that you couldn't be back there unless you were a PECO employee. Go figure. Anyway, I'd definitely look up the laws, keep us updated! Funny story though.... not surprising though. Where are you guys from? Want to make sure I stay ON the sidewalk LOL
Happy Trails!
