Kill buyers are still there. They may have closed the plants in the USA but the kill buyers are still out there. The horses are shipped to Canada and New Mexico where they are treated even worse than they were in the US. I was out there a few weeks ago and a gorgeous QH mare sold I was told to a kill buyer. What a waste!!!
