--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those of you who may fall under the Pennsylvania Nutrient Management Regulations. You have until October 1, 2008 to submit a nutirent management plan to the appropriate agency.

As of October 1, 2006 equine operations were included in the regulations. Any operation that has 8,000 lbs of animal (8 animal equvilent units) and mets the 2,000 lbs of animal/acre (2 AEU/acre) is required to have a plan developed under state law. These plans need to be written by a certified nutrient management planner under Act 38.

Please email me if you have questions I'll try to help you out or get you directed in the right place.
