Yes, you read it right. Apparently, the good news is that a bill was passed that no more horse slaughter could take place but then what that leaves is horse owners who's horses pass on and unless they bury the body or have it cremated doesn't leave them much choice in how to deal with the body. Read this article - what does everyone think? On one hand I found it disturbing but on the other hand if I'm dealing with my own horse is it better than the unknown??
