Equine Allergic Bronchitis

Hey everyone!
Do any of you have any experience with your horses or horses you have owned that had allergic bronchitis? My old guy (my Percheron) has it, this is from the last four years of being stalled - he came back to me this way. I have medications for him but I'm really looking to get him back to the way he was four years ago.
I have him out 24/7 and have noticed slight improvements but I also don't want him dependent on medications - especially with different side effect.. so, I'm wondering how many of you have had a horse that has or had allergic bronchitis and what you did or used (all natural) with noted improvements. Anyone ever use the Equine Gold Breathe Ease?

Any ideas, help, advice, comments, all are greatly appreciated.
