What would you like to know. I live in Cumberland County but I'm originally from Adams County and lived there up till 2 years ago. I still drive to work with my trainer who is south of Gettysburg.

There are a few circuits in the area - the Maryland Penn Circuit which is english, western and gaming - http://www.geocities.com/mphsc/. The Blue & Gray Circuit which runs between Gettysburg and Carlisle and it's hunter/jumper - http://bluegraycircuit.com/. The Chambersburg Saddle Club offers their own series, very similar to the MPHSC. There are also numerous barns in the area that hold schooling shows and also hold rated shows. Depends how far you want to drive. There are a few good trainers in the area, again depending upon what you are looking for.

As for trail riding there are trails at the Gettysburg Battlefield and many of the state forest and state parks in the area. We also have a few rails to trails.

Let me know what else you are interested in know and I'll try to help you out.
