RE: Hay/Sawdust in the Quakertown area

When you say sawdust are you refering to bulk from a mill? I don't know of anyone in the Quakertown area that does that. There are several mills around but I think you have to pick it up yourself. If you want pine shavings in paper the best ones I know of come from Oley Valley Feed mill in Oley. This is about 25 miles from Quakertown but he delivers and he can deliver your Purina feed products and hay too. Phone 610-987-3569. If you would consider a pelleted bedding you can get Guardian from Leid Saddle Shop, they are in the little town of Bowers near Kutztown 610-682-2760. Both Leid and Oley feeds offer discounts on bedding by the pallet, Leid will deliver also and they carry a variety of feed products too but they don't supply large amounts of hay. There is a local farm outside of Coopersburg, Marwell Dairy FArm on 2072 Cassel rd and they sell/deliver hay. Call 215-536-2173 or 610-967-2172. Now that you have your horses fed and bedded down don't forget about manure removal. That is my specialty, www.briarpatchachers.com visit our links page too. I like to list local people that we do business with. Good luck to you at your new barn
