Wonderful Companion horse in need of home

A few years ago I saved a racehorse off the track who was seriously injured. With the help of many people, he was operated on and is now fine. However, due to extensive scar tissue from being allowed to race over and over on an injured ankle, he can't be ridden very much. Every time we try to get him in shape again, he tears some of the adhesions in his ankle and is lame. He is a great horse and I love him dearly, but I don't have my own farm and I need to find him a retirement home. He gets along well with others, especially mares! He is on the meek side and tends to get picked by more aggressive horses. I can still pay for his vet care and trims. He loves people so I would like a home where he can get brushed and petted and loved. If you can help me find such a home, please email me. Thank you
